New Menu Items and Wine Selections Tempt Pinnacle Grill Guests Aboard Holland America Line

Holland America Line's exclusive Pinnacle Grill restaurant is introducing new menu selections and accompanying wine flights for each day of the week. The 21 new menu items comprise a week's cycle of new daily appetizers, entrees and desserts. The trio is designed to complement one another and the Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine served in the Pinnacle Grill aboard Holland America's 13 ships.

Samples of the daily specials now being offered include:

* Tequila Shrimp and Avocado Ceviche, citrus marinated and served with
Peruvian aji
* Grilled Rack Of Veal "Chop," with lemon-thyme glaze and Sicilian-style
roasted vegetables
* Tiramisu-Flavored Panna Cotta, with passion fruit sorbet

* Grilled Sea Scallops with Marjoram Pomodoro Coulis, served on curried
Hollandaise spinach with fried capers
* Chef Rudi's Filet Mignon, with a brandy-spiked green peppercorn demi

Wine flights from Pacific Northwest cellars complement new daily specials

Four wine flights, each featuring one glass each of four vintages showcasing the wine growing regions of the Pacific Northwest, have been selected to complement the new culinary creations. Two flights each of white and red are offered each evening and range in price from $12 to $29. Sample flights include:

Pinnacle Grill restaurants are beautifully appointed alternative-dining venues on all Holland America Line ships, and are ideal for a romantic dinner for two or a lively group celebration. Menus feature Pacific Northwest specialties including selected cuts of Sterling Silver beef and superb seafood items, as well as select wines from well-known Pacific Northwest vineyards.
